Thurs 17th 9:00-10:30 EET/ 7:00-8:30 GMT Climate Registry Pavilion , Blue Zone

GHG removal at scale will likely be necessary to achieve the Paris Agreement’s temperature goals.  This session will review the opportunities and challenges of various approaches to removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, including both nature-based approaches and engineering-based approaches. After providing an overview of the technical qualities and characteristics of different GHG removal approaches, the session will examine the policy and legal issues they raise.
