Dr Ali Mashayek

Dr Ali Mashayek is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge. He leads the Modelling Ocean Dynamics & Ecosystems Lab (MODEL) and co-directs the AI for Environmental Risks (AI4ER) Centre for Doctoral Training. He works with the industry on topics such as carbon removal methodologies and environmental risks associated with extreme events (e.g., flooding, and marine food security).
