
Emilie Selcuk
Emilie Selcuk joined the Centre for Climate Repair in October 2024 as our PA/Admin Assistant to help support the smooth operations of the Centre. Emilie brings extensive experience to the team having worked as a Secretary to the Teaching Office and as an administrator/coordinator for the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials (CCMM) in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy at the University of Cambridge. Prior to her role at the University of Cambridge, Emilie worked for the local government as the Beacon Coordinator for Sustainable Energy at Nottinghamshire County Council at Trent Bridge House. She holds a degree in History and Geography from France and more specifically Land Management and Urban Morphology as an Erasmus graduate at the University of Birmingham. Emilie completed her Master thesis with a MSc degree in Environmental Management from the University of Nottingham. She speaks French and English and has conversational fluency in Italian and Turkish.
Emilie is a keen gardener and has an allotment where she grows fruits, vegetables and cut-flowers. When she has any spare time for herself, she can be seen on a golf course teeing off, or at regional tennis tournaments supporting her children, as well as volunteering at their local tennis club.
