Jacob Cook

Jacob is a first year PhD student supervised by Professor Jerome Neufeld and Dr Kasia Warburton, working as part of the department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics in the Geophysics research group.

His research is focused on modeling freezing and thawing during the flow of water through porous snow firn, to better understand the effect of this phenomenon on the loss of Arctic sea ice.
