I am interested in climate feedback processes that either amplify or diminish climate change and its impacts. I use Earth system models together with paleoclimate data assimilation techniques to reconstruct past climate evolution and investigate the mechanisms behind abrupt climate shifts. 

Currently I am working at the Department of Geography, reconstructing the carbon cycle for the last 50,000 years.
