Event information

The Centre for Climate Repair is based at the University of Cambridge and bridges disciplines to develop a strong foundation of research on a variety of approaches to tackle climate change. Climate repair goes beyond emissions reduction: it involves actively removing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, preserving the planet's ice, and potentially cooling the planet through sunlight reflection methods.

At the Centre for Climate Repair, we are not tied to any one idea; rather, we are using rigorous scientific methods to assess each approach with the aim to learn which should - and which should not - be explored further. As well as the science, we are passionate about engaging with communities and policymakers and raising awareness about the breadth of actions needed to tackle climate change.

The Showcase will spotlight our key research themes and provide the chance to hear about our researchers' latest work.
